So happy to have created such a cool care container for the party goers visiting the Jungle Juice Records stage at the Hi-Vibes "Weedy Wonkers Winter Solstice" music festival, June 2023.
The design concept was to create a chill space to compliment the Jungle Juice theme, but with neon! I love to dangle things in people's faces and this was the perfect opportunity as punters pulled on the vines and played with the neon flowers attached to the canopy. Such a joy to see people having fun in the space! Seating was simple; a recycled plastic mat, spray painted cushions, and some faux grass covered milk crates. The space was lit with battery operated fairy lights and UV torches. The neon looked so cool at night under the UV lights!

Here are some work-in-progress shots.. most things were created from trash! One person's trash is another's treasure, so there was lots of recycling, re-using and re-purposing. The canopy was laser cut, however the vines and flowers were hand-cut. I'll definitely being using the laser cutter more often.
I'm really keen to make more of these interactive installation spaces! 👽
