MOVING IMAGE will feature experimental digital media artwork inspired by the western suburbs and screened across multiple sites throughout the festival. Featuring film makers Andrew Green, David Moore, Sandra Fiona Long, Izzy Brown, Makiko Yamamoto, Jo Harrison and Ilona Nelson.
The films will be screened at the following locations:
* Big Backyard, Sat Nov 21 in the film lounge in Maddern Square, Footscray from 1pm to 6pm
* Forges window (Paisley Street, Footscray) from now until Wed 25 Nov
* Foyer of the Dancing Dog Café, 42A Albert Street, Footscray from Wed 25 Nov until Sun 29 Nov
* Gabriel Gallery, Footscray Community Arts Centre, 45 Moreland Street, Footscray as part of the Mini-Art exhibition from Fri Nov 20 to Sun Nov 29
I think I'm gonna roll down to the Big Backyard Screening this Saturday @ 4:30pm if anyone wants to hook up for a public viewing follwed almost immediately by an icy cold beer!

well.. i dragged a few friends down through the pouring rain to a total fizzer of a screening. the "film lounge" was actually 2x tv sets (not switched on) on top of a table beside the stage. awesome. not.
ReplyDeleteapologies all round. looks like this one ain't playing on anything bigger than a telly, anywhere, anytime soon. maybe i should just back project it onto my dining room windows for my immediate westside locals to view!
