WATCH THE WATER

This music video is for the single "watch the water" from Jess Harlen's debut album "NEON HEARTACHE" which is scheduled for release February 2010 on Plethora Records, produced by Plutonic Lab.

It was fun to make. I got to hang out at the beach with some mates. The street party shots were probably the most stressful part of the project. You never know who's gonna show up but Jess called in a few of her friends and everything worked out just fine. (The amazing mural on the wall was done by DVATE and SEAR from Per Square Metre Gallery.)

BIG WEST FESTIVAL UPDATE



MOVING IMAGE will feature experimental digital media artwork inspired by the western suburbs and screened across multiple sites throughout the festival. Featuring film makers Andrew Green, David Moore, Sandra Fiona Long, Izzy Brown, Makiko Yamamoto, Jo Harrison and Ilona Nelson.

The films will be screened at the following locations:

* Big Backyard, Sat Nov 21 in the film lounge in Maddern Square, Footscray from 1pm to 6pm
* Forges window (Paisley Street, Footscray) from now until Wed 25 Nov
* Foyer of the Dancing Dog Café, 42A Albert Street, Footscray from Wed 25 Nov until Sun 29 Nov
* Gabriel Gallery, Footscray Community Arts Centre, 45 Moreland Street, Footscray as part of the Mini-Art exhibition from Fri Nov 20 to Sun Nov 29


I think I'm gonna roll down to the Big Backyard Screening this Saturday @ 4:30pm if anyone wants to hook up for a public viewing follwed almost immediately by an icy cold beer!

BICYCLE FILM FESTIVAL



we made it! we got into the bicycle film festival - local shorts program. screens at the human powered cafe friday 13th and saturday 14th november. 2x sessions each date at 6:30pm and 8:30pm.

GET TRUCKED

was a group exhibition put on by the ladies at 696 and held at Per Square Metre Gallery. It was a fundraiser for Canteen and part of Semi-Permanent 09. Hats sold for $60 with all monies going to canteen.. aww that's nice, isn't it? Yes it is.
